Mine isn't. There's a 1-800 number. The address/location is listed.
It's an inconvenience. Is your bank's phone number listed in your telephone directory?
I had the same thing ...all I could get was an 800 #. I went to the bank I actually use and just asked them for their number. They gave it to me.
Yes, my bank, BB%26amp;T, all information in phone book and on statement, plus ,I can call them numerous times a month to check my balance, they are very polite, accomodating and friendly. One of the clerks even recognizes my voice, I should change to a closer bank
but I don't want to give the courtesies up. And it sure isn't because I have a large account. Is your bank's phone number listed in your telephone directory?
I use a locally chartered bank, which has no exposure to the sub prime mortgage mess. The president and all executives, loan officers, etc, are in my town. Their phone number is in the book, on the internet, etc.
