It seems that, with the sudden rise of cellular telephones, almost as many, or even more, people have cellular telephones than have old-fashioned corded land line telephones. This makes it very hard to fine d the phone number of someone who you don't know their number. When almost everyone had land line phones, though, it was very easy to find someone's number. Phone directories for land line phones have existed for well over 100 years, ever since the telephone was invented. So, when will there finally be a comprehensive phone directory for everyone who has a cellular telephone number? Why don't they publish a phone directory of cellular telephone numbers?
Actually, there is a national cell phone registry. Give it a try.

There is a charge.
if they listed all the cellular telephone numbers, there would be far too many, see, a household only has one house phone, but, a household with 4 people generally has 4 cell phones, possibly more if one of them has a work phone, so in households, there are usually at least double the amount of cell phones than there are home phones, this directory would be far too large, and it isnt exactly necessaryWhy don't they publish a phone directory of cellular telephone numbers?
well a lot of ppl get a new cell phone/number so they cant exactly keep directories up-to-date with all the cellular numbers unless they get a new one evry day =P =P =PWhy don't they publish a phone directory of cellular telephone numbers?
I agree. Maybe it is because people might not have gotten their phone number where they live. In that case your next-door neighbor may not be in your phone book.
